Abstract:Firstly, four types of BeiDou dual-frequency combined CV (Common-View) time transferring modes were briefly introduced. The software rnx2cgg, for converting RINEX (Receiver Independent Exchange Format) data into CGGTTS (Common GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) Generic Time Transfer Standard) data, was developed aiming to take into account the new signals in BeiDou-3 that have not been included in CGGTTS V2E (Version 2 Extended). Secondly, the BeiDou timing error models were comprehensively analyzed, including the SISRE (Signal-In-Space Ranging Error), the pseudo-range measurement noises, and the DCBs (Differential Code Bias). The BeiDou common-view weighting function was mathematically determined based on the error modes. Finally, the performances of timing and between-station BeiDou common-view were analyzed with the time transfer results between BSNC (Beijing Satellite Navigation Center) and the MGEX (The Multi-GNSS Experiment and Pilot Project) stations. The experiments show that, the closure STD (Standard Deviation) of the total link from the ground segment to the space segment and then to the user segment is better than 2ns. The BeiDou common-view noise is about 0.7ns, the noise level is equal to a short-term frequency instability of about 1 × 10-9 on averaging time T when frequency transferring in long distance.
